Carn Plastics’ GRP Dormers are manufactured in one piece so that they can simply be lifted onto the roof, bolted down and flashed. They include an opening which is designed to suit the windows to be used and the reinforcement around the opening allows the windows to be fitted easily and securely. The fact that they are supplied as one piece units, along with the integral soaker sheets means that there are no joints and they are therefore completely water proof . As glass fibre is non-corrosive and self coloured, our dormers prove a cost effective option over their long life span.

MANUFACTURE
Being manufactured to the customer’s specific requirements, our dormers can be manufactured to any required design such as apex, radiused or flat. They can be self coloured to any BS or RAL colour code and are moulded with encapsulated reinforcements. Our ISO 9001 quality system places stringent checks on each part of the production process thereby ensuring a quality product is delivered to the customer each time.
